Punta Pacifica

Punta Pacífica is a small peninsula on the southern face of Panama City, built almost entirely from the early 2000s onward on reclaimed land. The neighbourhood concentrates many of the city's most expensive residential towers and a number of its better-known landmarks, including Hospital Punta Pacífica (with its long-standing Johns Hopkins Medicine International affiliation) and Multiplaza, the largest shopping centre in the country.

The neighbourhood is car-oriented within its boundaries and intentionally low-density at street level. Residents are predominantly Panamanian executives, regional expatriate management, and international buyers attracted by the bay views, the building-quality tier, and the proximity to Multiplaza and Punta Pacífica hospital. It is one of the most consistently expensive corners of the city.
