San Francisco

San Francisco is a central, mid-density residential neighbourhood east of the financial district, organised around Parque Omar, the largest urban park in Panama City. The streetscape is a long-established mix of older single-family houses, low-rise apartment buildings, and a steady stream of newer mid- and high-rise condominium towers, knitted together by tree-lined avenues and a deep roster of restaurants and cafés.

It is one of the most consistently rented neighbourhoods in the city, popular with young professionals, established Panamanian families, and international residents looking for a walkable, lived-in alternative to the more polished towers of Punta Pacífica or Costa del Este. The mix of price points is unusually wide for the centre of Panama City.
